About the owner
My story
I grew up in and out of the foster care system, moving between homes and learning early what it felt like to lose stability. The last time I was placed back into foster care, I had just turned 14. Not long after, I aged out of the system — stepping into adulthood without much guidance, but with a strong desire to create something better for myself. Those experiences shaped who I am today. Constant change taught me responsibility, independence, and the value of taking care of what you have — lessons that now guide both my life and my business. At 20 years old, I now run my own business, focusing on eco-friendly products and pre-loved clothing, something I started with little more than determination and belief in myself. I’ve also completed six months of college toward a business degree, continuing to build the knowledge needed to grow sustainably and responsibly. I am proud to have had the opportunity to give a closing speech at the grand opening of The Landing in Loveland, an experience that reflected how far I’ve come and how committed I am to giving back. Supporting foster children and my community is at the heart of everything I do. I strive to treat people with honesty, respect, and care — values that weren’t always guaranteed in my own upbringing, but ones I believe everyone deserves. My story is not just about where I came from, but about building something meaningful from it.
